Q: I sent you an email, why haven't I heard back?
A: We respond to every email. If we are out of town, it could take a day or two for us to get back to you. Many times we respond to emails and the problem is that your SPAM filters might be throwing our reply into your "junk mail" folder or rejecting our email altogether. Another issue is an email account from work that might be denying our incoming messages.

Please be sure to set your SPAM filters to allow messages from: sales@clearwatercustomtackle.com. Also be sure to use a genuine email address, and remember we do not send any email messages other than those concerning your immediate order or to reply to an email message from you. If it has been a few days and you have not heard back from us, please call us at 208.661.8511.

Q: Can I order custom colors?
A: Yes, you can order custom colors provided you send us a sample for the best color match. The minimums are as follows:

Hand Pours: 200
Tubes: 500 (single color)
There are NO returns on custom colors. Colors are matched to the best of our ability, but due to a number of variables we cannot guarantee 100% matching.

Q: Do you sponsor clubs?
A: In a limited fashion. We have so many requests from around the country, and we are a very small business, that  we really have to pick and choose which events to sponsor.

Q: Is there salt in your plastic?
A: Starting in 2007 we added a fine grain salt to our tubes and we 'crust' the bellies/backs of our hand pours. We use a coarse salt for the crusting so that it sinks deeper into the hot plastic. Pouring salt directly into the plastic messes with some of our pearl colors, making them too opaque to get the effect we are looking for.

Q: What's the white stuff on the baits?
A: The white granular material on the outside of the lures is an extra fine salt that we use instead of oil to aide in packaging.

Q: Are you looking for additional pro-staff?
A: Not at this time.

Q: Do you send out samples?
A: No. We used to send out samples, but it just got out of hand. Since we sell our plastics by the each you can order 1 each of lures/colors that you are interested in.
