Congratulations to Jeff Harris - 2nd Place Co-Angler Division
We received this email from Jeff Harris after his second place finish at the Everstart tournament on Lake Erie, August, 25-28, 2004. Here’s what he had to say:

“I would like to thank you at ClearWater Custom tackle, and Matt Shreve one of your pro-staffers for providing myself with some of your new (Sculpin) type plastics. I was able to place in 2nd place at the last Northern Everstart Tournament in Lk. Erie at Buffalo,NY on the co-angler side. I fished this lure on a drop-shot rig and was able to easily catch a limit each of the first 3 days of the tournament. In fact I was the day 1 leader with 18lbs. 12 oz , with all my fish coming on the (Sculpin).

I fished this lure anywhere from 22-40 ft deep during the first day, and caught fish as deep as 48 ft on day 3. The colors and lure shape and size matched the actual gobie fish to perfection. The most successful color was a brown back with gold flake body and creme color bottom. This lure allowed myself to outfish my day 1 partner easily. In fact after I caught my 5th fish I sat down until he finished out his limit.

On day 2 it was more of the same, except the fish were a little smaller,! but again I caught a limit easily and even had my partner borrowing the few (Sculpins) I had left. He also caught fish with this lure.

Again the 3rd day was much the same as I was able to catch a limit quick and cull my weight up to a good limit, all on the (Sculpin). Unfortunately for myself, my last day partner was fishing shallow and thus could not use the technique of drop-shotting the (Sculpin) as I had done the previous 3 days. But I was fortunate to finish in 2nd overall.

Again thank you and your staff for providing an excellent lure and I will definitely use your products in the future. If at all possible, would love to see all the colors of the (Sculpin), this lure will make an impact here in the great lakes area.

2 Shakey Jig Designs

We are now offering the Shakin' Jig in both a round head and football head design. Both are powder painted and use Mustad 32798BLN flat eye hooks. The hook eyes are very clean and ready to fish right from the package.

You may notice that many older styles have been removed from the website. I wanted to focus on the new products and there is only so much time for me to keep up the website. If you need something that is not listed, just email or call and I can still pour it for you.
